The chat and the member gallery are both back online. The chat application is pretty basic but a more modern app is already in the works. You need a milkboard account for both.
Since this question comes up fairly often: Yes, you will have to make a new account if you had one on the ‘old’ board (pre-2015), sorry about that. But the signup process takes less than a minute, all we need is a username & password or you can just sign in with your Twitter account.
Besides getting a better chat we’ll hopefully also be able to get a proper visual refresh for the board soon, add a member map and connect the board with the blog so you can use your account for both but I can’t make any promises regarding a timeline because all that stuff costs money. If you have any other ideas or suggestions, please let us know :)
